The bullet carved by the artist is not suitable for a specific weapon. It is a metaphor for a show of force: aggression that may be explained as a post-traumatic symptom bequeathed by individuals and society as a whole to the coming generations.

In his book Writing History, Writing Trauma (2001), Dominick LaCapra analyses certain forms of political behaviour, such as aggression, as post-traumatic symptoms. Unprocessed trauma, he argues, can cause individuals and societies, often unconsciously, to get caught in a cycle of ethically and politically undesirable behaviours. Political, social, and cultural injustice may be regarded as the outcome of collective traumas that have not been fully processed.
