This work was inspired by a newspaper article about dogs equipped with bombs sent to blow up military targets. Although it is motivated by the desire to prevent injury to human life, this practice raises moral questions. Moreover, it clearly negates the idea that dogs are man’s best friend.

Against the silhouette of a dog faithful to its owner, the artist introduces questions about loyalty, and criticises dictated moral standards. He subverts a flawed self-image that allows for exploitation and abuse.
